Ok, This is from my other blog but more people might comment now...

Who (e.g only christians, or good people, bad people, not christians etc) do you think will

1) Go to heaven

2) Go to hell

3) Or do some people just die and thats it?

Also, dont worry I havent forgotten Im not a judge and my opinion will have no effect on whats going to happen! Im just interested in what peoples beliefs are...

Hey James... Random question!

Well, i distinctively remember having a full on convo with someone (can’t remember who) at Macleod. This is what i came up with:

1. To heaven, only those with a passion for god, those who live by him, by his rules, someone who completely and honestly repents of their sins and truly accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and accepts the trinity... someone who keeps the commandments, a simple belief, is that enough? I don’t think so, everyone can believe, it is the actions they take because of their belief!

I guess... I am possible being judgmental, I was gonna go and look at my bible and find the passages... but I am guessing you all ready know about them… so... this is just more of what I think: Just some points I think… dunno if they are even relevant but…

• Yes, the bible does teach us that he died on the cross for our sins, but unless we accept that and tell him that we accept that we will go to Hell.
• God did die on the cross for our sins, but his grace is a gift we must accept and if we don't accept it, there's the alternative. And I'm sure you know what that is...
• I'm not saying we rely on a church or our own works. My point is that God's love is enormous and he knows people better then they know themselves. The attitude of a lot of Christians is that "We're saved and they're not, and therefore we will go to heaven, and they will not."
• 'Heaven' is for believers because that is their choice. God does not 'exclude' people: He identifies those who have already chosen to be excluded, and provided their own desire. It is our choice: that is the terrible responsibility that goes with the great blessing of Free Will.
• We do not attain Spiritual Life (or acceptability before God, or Salvation, or Heaven; however one wants to describe it) on the basis of doing good works: it is clearly a Gift of Grace that we either receive and accept, or reject and deny.

Well I said tones and that only the first point... Geez... I will send an email with the rest…
cya Sunday!

Very interesting questions, and there are a lot of different views out there so here are mine.

1. Who will go to heaven?

Luke 10:25-28 tells what we should do to inheret internal life according to the law and those who live by the law are judged by the law;
'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'
John 3:16 says;
'For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.'
So so if we love the Lord (which inludes God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit) with everything we have and love our neighbour. Loving means believing in Jesus and also wanting and being willing to serve him and do his will.
So anyone who does this will go to heaven.

2. Who will go to hell?

John 3:18 says;
'Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.'
John 3:5 says;
'no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.'
So anyone who does not claim Jesus has Lord and has not been baptized in the Spirit, will not enter heaven.

3.Do some people just die and that's it?

Maybe they do but the very definition of hell is a place where God is not, it is purely evil and evil cannot be in the presence of God, so if they do just die and that's it, there not with God, so that's hell.

Anyway that's what I believe.
